Do some research to get some background on the topic that will help you with this poster. Draw thumbnail drawing of some of your ideas. If time find some images and save them to a thumbnail drive or your email.
• Create a folder Save file as “last name_YSO
• In this folder create a subfolder called images• Your file will include all original images so I can see the transformations
• Your file will also include : any research on your topic, a word document with the detailed web address corresponding to the image (ie red flower: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bushhaab/2093057816/), a reflection explaining your poster and additional information I should know so I can evaluate your detailed use of photoshop. If you use the camera to take photographs of individuals a Modl release form will have to be filled out
• You will save it in your Photoshop folder until you finish. If your file is full save it in the D drive...back up on your thumbnail drive
• Once you finish, copy the folder into the proper handin folder.
Requirements:
• Must be 8.5 inches in width and 11 inches in height
• Resolution 300 pixels per inch
• Imagery must be consistent.......Some text to be included that adds to your image
• Must include an element of research on your topic as well as a reflection describing what you are trying to achieve
• Must have a readily understood message which connects to the imagery

Image Selection: using Flickr you must use the advanced search and go to creative commons. Then click Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content then click find content to modify, adapt, or build upon. Once you pick your image them go to view all sizes, highlight this web address and copy and paste into a word document. This will be done to give the original photographers credit, as requested by their creative commons licence.
Compositional Requirements• Must be aesthetically pleasing and contain the following tools:
Technical Requirement- you are to demonstrate the knowledge you have gained in the photoshop exercises as well as stretch those skills
Clean selections (remember to use feather) edge
Filters and Layer Stles
Adjustment Layers
Text
Use of Enhancement tools including the cloning tool
Communication Requirements
Your message gets across, Be imaginative....push yourself........don't be boring.
