‍Formatting text in CSS

  • click on CSS button on the left (cascading style sheets)Then go over to the font option
  • use the font family, or you can create your own but make sure it ends with serif or sans serif
  • new CSS rule opens up for now go with whatever dreamweaver selects for the contextual selector type
  • chose a name for your text- fancytext, captiontrext, amortext, body text etc.(no spaces or special characters)
  • For now just save it for this document only
  • Notice you tag now appears in the targeted rule (and it has a dot in front- more about that latter
